You book and pay for the equipment online. During checkout, you specify the desired rental period. Afterwards, a pickup appointment will be scheduled by phone or email. Pickup is in Oberndorf bei Salzburg (exact address in the booking confirmation), usually on weekdays between 08:00 and 18:00. Exceptions can be arranged if needed. Delivery is also available and can be booked separately at an additional cost.

Any person of legal age (18 years or older) as well as companies. ALTRA Studios e.U. reserves the right to refuse a rental at its sole discretion.

A valid government-issued photo ID is required. At handover, a copy of the ID will be made for security purposes.

Payment is made online during booking (credit card, PayPal, or instant bank transfer).

Rental is calculated per calendar day. Pickup and return take place at the agreed appointment. Late returns will be charged as an additional rental day.

Yes. In case of damage, the deductible is 15% of the replacement value, minimum €150. In case of loss, theft, or gross negligence, the renter is fully liable for the replacement value.

Cancellations are free of charge up to 24 hours before the rental period starts. After that, 50% of the rental fee will be charged.

Normally no deposit is required. However, ALTRA Studios e.U. reserves the right to request a deposit or additional security in individual cases.

The rental contract itself is issued at pickup and signed on site.

When attaching SDI accessories: 1. Connect a power source to the SDI accessory; power on the SDI accessory. 2. Ensure a power source is connected to the camera. 3. Connect the BNC cable to the accessory, then to the camera. When detaching an accessory mounted to an SDI output, ensure that you remove the BNC connection to the camera before removing power to the SDI device: 1. Shutdown the SDI accessory. 2. Disconnect the BNC cable from camera. 3. Disconnect the power source from SDI accessory. When you swap out a battery on an accessory mounted to the camera’s SDI port: 1. Shutdown the SDI accessory. 2. Disconnect the BNC cable from the camera. 3. Replace the battery on the SDI accessory. 4. Power on the SDI accessory. 5. Connect the BNC cable to the camera.
